Alan is married to Mariella Noriega, a Peruvian born and raised in Iquitos, Peru - a friendly city of 300,000 inhabitants nestled on the banks of the Amazon River. Mariella is a professional guide and has been running tours in Peru for the last 8 years.She also speaks English but has assistants that can be brought in for groups that speak fluent Chinese, French, and Italian. If other languages are needed, Mariella has extensive contacts and will supply the group with the translator needed.

Pre-Conference Tour: July 12th - July 17th

Beginning on the 12th of July we have a Pre-Conference Tune-Up, ending on July 17th afternoon. This pre-conference program is only available to 15 people and will be held in the Soga Del Alma maloca on the Rio Itaya, just outside of Iquitos. It is open only to those that have had sufficient experience with la medicina such that they do not need the services of a curandero to facilitate ceremonies.

The cost is $200 USDs and this includes all the plants necessary, the food and transportation. All things are provided by Soga Del Alma. The maloca is located very near to Iquitos so members of this group may return to Iquitos daily as they wish.
